Transplanted the HSO Blue Dream

So today I transplanted my HSO Blue Dream into a 1 gal bag.   She is now #4 in the queue for the flower room.

Out of the 5 seeds I planted that day, the HSO Blue Dream is so far the 2nd most vigorous.  Most vigorous is a Resin Seeds LA Ultra that I planted the same day.  It is now 2nd in queue for the flower room, so it is a couple of weeks ahead of the Blue Dream now.

I have to say that the HSO Blue Dream is growing nicely, very healthy so far.  Right behind it are the 3 real deal Blue Dreams from Garberville that I planted about a week later.  They are looking very vigorous too, and to tell you the truth if they got mixed with the HSO plant and got unlabled, I doubt if I could tell them apart.

Behind them are the DNA Road Kill Skunk, the HSO Chemdog and HSO Trainwreck.   The chem and the wreck both look very indica, and very similar, with the chemdog a bit stretchier.

Little Frankenstrains

Earlier this year I took some freebies from Sannies, Sannies Free Kush and sprouted all five of them.  Two of them were nice males so I let them have their way with my flowers at the time.   There was a Chocolate Rain (eskobar), a Laughing Buddha and a Red Dragon (Barney’s Farm) and a Super Lemon Haze (Greenhouse) and a Willie Nelson (Reeferman) in the room at the time and I got some little frankenseeds from each.

Last week I sprouted four of the Laughing Buddha seeds and ended up with two (1 didn’t sprout and the third suffered a fatal accident.)  These two are now two inches tall.   This week I sprouted four Choc Rain X  Free Kush and all four are coming up.

Sannies Free Kush was a cross of KO Kush and Motarebels Star Kush, so it has Bubba kush on both sides and some sensei star in the mix too.

Red Dragon

Red Dragon (Barney’s Farm) I just gotta say it is one of my favorite plants right now.

I got five fem seeds last year and popped one now I am in the fourth gen clone.  (I clone to clone to clone, I don’t keep a mother.)

First of all it is a gorgeous plant.  In physical appearance.  Also it has a wonderful smell and the smoke is great.  The buds are gorgeous.  The plant clones easily.  It is vigorous too, a fast grower.  I got lucky and the seed  I popped gave me a great clone.

Red Dragon is the real deal.  I have two clones in flower, one in veg, and four rooting in the clone tray as we pixilate.

No Go With the Trainwrecks

Well my bagseed trainwrecks just aren’t popping.  After a day or two I thought I saw a little white popping out, and maybe a small split in a couple of them, but maybe not.  Anyway I am giving up on them.  I have about a dozen of them left maybe someday I will mess with them again but now onto something else.   Anyway I have a good idea what trainwreck grows like and smokes like, but it would have been nice to have a live comparison with the HSO plant.

All three HSOs are healthy, maybe 9 in tall.  Trainwreck and chemdog both still look very indica, Blue Dream looks hybrid as expected.

My 3 real deal Blue Dream babies are all about 9 in tall plus  the one I just recently planted, its about 2 in tall.

More Trainwrecks

I put 5 more trainwreck seeds in a coffee cup full of water and put it on the heating tray.  Put a lid on the coffee cup to keep them dark.

All five are sinkers so that is good.  We will see if any of them pop.

Progress Report

Three of the real deal blue dreams are doing well, they are about 8 in tall, as is the HSO Blue Dream.   The 4th blue dream is fine too, but it is still a tiny baby since I planted it a few weeks later.  I will say this, the HSO plant looks quite a bit like the 3 real deal blue dreams right now, in leaf shape (hybrid) and in plant structure and node structure.

The HSO trainwreck still looks healthy but still looks very indica.   The HSO chemdog is healthy but looks a little stretchy.

Another failure with the trainwrecks.   Maybe I will take a few and put them in a covered cup of water and see what happens.

A friend just brought me a little trim from Mendocino, some super silver haze and some trainwreck trim with some small buds in it.  So I will keep a little bit for comparison in a few months.

Also he brought me three seeds of Cherry Pie Kush.   Yummm.

Progress with HSO, Blue Dream and Trainwreck

Well the Trainwrecks didn’t germ so I will try 4 more.  This happens sometimes, these seeds are just a cut above bagseed.

Good news is I have found 4 nice fat seeds so far in the Blue Dream I got last month, and three of them have sprouted so I will have some real Blue Dream growing to compare to the HSO Blue Dream.

The HSO sprounts are doing ok, they are all healthy but they are a couple of days behind the Reserva Privada Road Kill Skunk and the Resin LA Ultra (both fems) that I planted the same day.  The trainwreck looks very indica.
